GNL stands for GLIDE AND LOCK and has a unique mission and value proposition: to regenerate while walking, thanks to proprietary advanced Swiss footwear technology. In the 1990s, Jürg Braunschweiler, a graduate of the world-famous Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), invented the first shoe sole to use horizontal cushioning instead of traditional vertical cushioning. Equipped with a garden hose, scissors and some super glue, Jürg made his first prototype.

Head of E-Commerce & Digital
GNL FOOTWEAR IN ZURICH IS SEARCHNG FOR
HEAD OF E-COMMERCE & DIGITAL MARKETING (F/M/D)
You will get the entrepreneurial responsibility for strongly growing e-commerce sales
in Switzerland, and soon also in other countries. This includes responsibility for a digital / performance marketing budget that is only limited by cost per order.
- Growth of profitable e-commerce sales in GNL’s own d2c web-shop as well as 3rd party sales platforms / partners.
- Ensuring high conversion rates via attractive offers and content, and via continuously improved landing pages.
- Growing paid traffic via data-driven performance marketing on Google, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest etc. You continuously improve GNL’s digital assets and audiences.
- Plans for and implementation of digital affiliate & influencer marketing programs.
- Growing organic traffic with more and particularly relevant SEO content.
- Further develop GNL’s e-mail & CRM marketing, as well as our customer database.
- Leading our digital marketing agencies and freelancers.
- Budget planning, controlling & reporting for digital marketing.
You need a strong personality, talent, high motivation ... and practical experience.
- You have some years of proven successful digital marketing & eCom experience in a digital start-up, in the digital / e-commerce team of a corporation, in one of the big internet companies, or in a
digital / performance marketing agency. - You want to have an impact, you want to learn fast, and you look for the chance to participate in a share plan in a few years.
- You have fun in generating and analyzing digital facts & numbers, which you use for a focused and structured way of working.
- You are a cost-conscious doer, who has fun and the courage to design and realize marketing & content once in a while also on your own.
- You like hybrid work, but not without frequent teamwork in the office, where you inspire and motivate all others with your open and optimistic character.

Du steigerst den GNL-Umsatz und stärkst die GNL-Marke mit mehr und besserem digitalen Content.
- Deine Hauptaufgabe ist die Konzeption, Kreation und Produktion von Texten, Fotos und
Videos, für den Internet-Auftritt, den Webshop, das Performance Marketing und die Social
Media Präsenz von GNL in der Schweiz. - Dein Content hat Klasse, weil er mit Talent für ikonisches Design und zeitlosem Fashion Style von Dir selbst und Deinen Agenturen / Freelancern gemacht wird.
- Dein Content verkauft, weil er Traffic für unseren Web-Shop generiert und dort großartige
Conversion-Raten liefert. - Dein Content ist kosteneffizient, weil Du vieles selbst und in-house machst, und ein gutes Netzwerk in der Schweizer Kreativ- & Digital-Community hast.
- Du misst und optimierst laufend die Ergebnisse Deiner Arbeit mit den wichtigsten Kennzahlen wie Umsatz, Traffic, Conversion-Rate, Engagement, Ratings & Reviews, etc.
Du brauchst eine starke Persönlichkeit, Talent, hohe Motivation ... und
praktische Erfahrung.
- Du hast Berufserfahrung in digitalem Marketing und E-Commerce z.B. in einer Agentur, in
der E-Commerce / Digital Marketing-Abteilung eines Unternehmens, oder aus einem
Start-up. - Du hast ein gutes Gefühl für Style & Design und machst gerne und gute Fotos und / oder
Videos. - Du bist eine Person, die viele Ideen hat und gerne die Initiative ergreift, um Umsatz, Marke, Effizienz, Teamspirit etc. nach vorne zu bringen, und die gerne für seine Projekte die Führung & Verantwortung übernimmt.
- Du arbeitest hybrid, aber am liebsten in Teamarbeit in unserem neuen Züricher Büro, wo Du alle anderen mit Deiner offenen und optimistischen Art inspirierst und motivierst.
