"The George" is made from 95% bio-based and recycled materials and is the start of a revolution for GNL. This handmade sneaker is proof that we turn it up and go fully vegan. The upper is made from recycled materials like plastic and nylon waste from factories and a bio-based component made from non-food corn to give it its leather-like look and durable quality.

The increased thickness of our midsole is designed for wearers who prefer more bounce and stability. Our patented Swiss sole technology remains untouched and regenerates the body with every step, so you feel fit from morning to night. This model comes with both elastic laces and standard laces.

Returns

Manufacturing 

Every GNL shoe is elaborately handmade in Europe. We only work with partners with whom we have full transparency, and we regularly visit the sites ourselves to ensure proper working conditions and production quality. Currently, our manufacturing takes place in a family-run shoe factory in the Bulgarian mountains. A small factory with a long history and importance within the village and community.

Materials

We also strive to never overproduce and try our best to match supply and demand in a sustainable way.

All our materials are purchased in Italy. We want to ensure short transport routes to reduce CO2 emissions, as well as ensure that all our materials meet the highest quality standards.

Longevity

We want you to enjoy your GNL product for as long as possible. Through our re-sole program, you can help contribute to a waste-free society by extending the life of your shoes.

I noticed that I can walk longer distances

I usualy wear leather shoes that are completely flat since I wear suits and shirts (for an office environment). I noticed that I can walk further when I am wearing the George Stick Up. Walking is much more confortable and it really makes a difference!

auch von diesem schuh bin ich begeistert. tolles laufgefühl, keine ermüdungen. einzig weiss ich zuwenig über die pflege wenn das weiss zu grau wird.
